Dear Parents,

Welcome to Cub Scouting!

The most important help that you, as a parent, can give your child is to work with them on their Cub Scouting Adventures as they work toward their badge of rank. The Cub Scout handbook is full of age-appropriate activities; some of them you do together at home. Den meetings are designed for Cub Scouts to complete Adventures that are required for them to earn their badge of rank. When you have completed a requirement at home, make sure your den leader is informed so that they can properly record it and your child can be recognized for their achievements.

Upcoming Events:

District Hike - One mile hike through the Seidman Park red loop for Cub Scouts and their families. Explore different stations, such as the six essentials, knot tying, first aid, and more! See the calendar event for the event flyer.

We're excited for the school year and scouting to start back up again! We'll kick off the year with a welcome back meeting with games and snacks. Each scout should bring their favorite game and a snack to share on August 31 at 6:30 pm.

Scouts should start collecting recyclable materials for our annual recycled Raingutter Regatta!

Visit the calendar to see the upcoming events and add the dates to your calendar. The hike on October 3 will close on September 14 so RSVP before then.

Join us for a night of fun and learn what scouting is about! RSVP here for our upcoming Raingutter Regatta recruitment event on September 14 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
